VueScan is significantly more than just scanning software and printer drivers.

I'll try to address your concern about VueScan. I'd appreciate any guidance on how to install VueScan into KDE 64-bit PCLinuxOS. Next, I installed and searched fuller versions of KDE 64-bit PCLinuxOS (Full Monty, and Full), but couldn't find the missing library (libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0). Unfortunately, installing these packages did not eliminate the error message. So using "Synaptic Package Manager", I've tried installing: "./vuescan: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" Installed all updates using "Synaptic Package Manager".Ģ) Downloaded "vuex3295.tgz" from " ", and extracted the files into: I'm trying to install VueScan into KDE 64-bit PCLinuxOS MiniMe, but failing.ġ) Installed KDE 64-bit PCLinuxOS MiniMe. I'm new to PCLinuxOS, and still learning.
